It straddles part of the Massachusetts and Rhode Island state line with Tiverton, RI to its south. Located along the eastern shore of Mount Hope Bay at the mouth of the Taunton River, the city gained recognition during the 19th century as a leading textile manufacturing center in the United States. While the textile industry has long since moved on, its impact on the city's culture and landscape is still prominent.

It seems as though no matter what time of day or night, avo always had something delicious prepared and took pride in making sure everyone present was well fed! We grew up in a rich culture, which included the "Feast of the Holy Ghost" that originated centuries ago in the Azores. Our menu was designed to give a taste of the delicious foods available at these festivals. We have taken this concept and placed it in a fun and festive environment to give you a truly unique dining experience!
