Fallbrook is immediately east of the U.S. Marine Corps' Camp Pendleton. Fallbrook is known for its avocado groves and calls itself the "Avocado Capital of the World". == History == The community of Fallbrook was first settled by the Payomkawichum people, later called Luiseños by the Spanish missionaries who were present in the area in the late 1700s.
