The most popular attraction in Newtown Square is the Valley Forge National Historical Park. This park preserves the home of George Washington during the winter 1777–1778 while he camped out with his army.

Another great place to see in Newtown Square is the Chester Zoo. This zoo is one of the largest zoos in America. It opened in 1891 and covers over 600 acres of land.
