Miami, officially the City of Miami, is a coastal city in the U.S. state of Florida and the seat of Miami-Dade County in South Florida. It is the core of the much larger Miami metropolitan area, which, with a population of 6.14 million, is the second-largest metropolitan area in the Southeast after Atlanta, and the ninth-largest in the United States. With a population of 442,241 as of the 2020 census, Miami is the second-most populous city in Florida after Jacksonville. Miami has the third-largest skyline in the U.S. with over 300 high-rises, 61 of which exceed 491 ft (150 m). Miami is a major center and leader in finance, commerce, culture, arts, and international trade.

Founding Attorney
Ariel Lett, Esq. is the Managing Attorney of Lett Law. Mr. Lett has a wide range of experience that he brings to the firm. Before founding Lett Law in 2007, Mr. Lett worked at both large and small defense companies for several years. He was able, during his time at the insurance company, to gain a solid understanding of their thinking, how they work, and how they function. He brings this experience to Lett Law, in order to work most effectively for you: The People. He will make sure that you are not taken advantage of through Bad Faith insurance companies.
Mr. Lett, in addition to his experience as a lawyer, also worked as a federal law assistant for the Honorable Darrin Gayles of the U.S. District Court of the Southern District of Florida. As a federal clerk, Mr. Lett evaluated many cases and managed them, including writing numerous orders and opinions which resolved complex procedural and substantive issues. Mr. Lett also has litigation experience in trade secret and non-compete law.
Mr. Lett earned his Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law where he was a Trustee Full-Tuition Scholarship recipient. While in law school, he won a national championship in the Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition and several personal honors and awards in Moot Court & Trial Advocacy. He was also an Associate Editor for the Michigan State International Law Review. Lett also won a regional championship as a member of the Michigan State Arbitration Team. Mr. Lett completed an internship for the Honorable Victoria A. Roberts of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
Prior to law school, Mr. Lett attended Northwood University where he obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration while on the Dean's List. He was also a part of the school's national championship mock trial team where he earned several personal awards, including an All-American Attorney Award.
Mr. Lett is licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
